- Màrion, would you tell us how you got to Pole Dance?
I always like Dance since I can remember, even though I wasn’t good at it.
In 2006 in Paris, a friend brought me to my first pole class. Lolo Hilsum was the teacher and if you ask her she will tell you how bad I was. But I felt in love and I kept training and believing I can improve and have so much fun. Definitely I didn’t expect a that time. Pole will rock my entire life. For Good.
How is your life outside of sport?
Sport is part of my life. I practice many others than Pole. I’m grateful to have a sport passionate husband so we can share this together too.
It is truly fantastic to be able to have that as I’m truly passionate about moving.
Within your career as an athlete of the Pole, what moments would you highlight?
It is pretty hard questions as I have so many good memories.
Maybe I will talk about this performance in 2012 at the Swiss Pole Show. Probably one of the master moments on stage.
This routine has been choreographed by my dear talented friend Manuela Carneiro. During that piece I felt…at peace. And I will cherish that memory forever.
Any phrase identifies you?
Mmmm, let me choose between few mantras that I cultivate carefully in my practice and every day’s life.
“I believe I can”
“ Do it to the fullest, avec Passion”.
“ Twist Your Body”
